    The difference between LRT and BRT...

    LRT - trains on elevated track way relying on electricity
    BRT - buses on designated road, pwede pud himuon elevated ang road way same as LRT and lights lang imo electricity consumptions.

    cheap gihapon ang BRT, less electricity and no tracks hehehe.

    paspas man gihapon ang BRT cos it runs on dedicated lanes. Just like the one below in Jakarta.



    So, in a way, it's just like rail without the tracks. Di matrapik kay exclusive for BRT ra ang lane nga ilang agian. Di pwede ang mga private vehicles moagi bahala ug bumper to bumper na sila sa ilang lane.

    Also, ang bus nga gamiton for BRT is a longer type. Daghan kaayo makasakay aircon pa. Something like these

    Budget was not the reason not to go for LRT. Without an approved study, how will the LGU ask for an approval and the required budget?

    stupidity is NOT DOING ANYTHING AT ALL even if the possibilities are there.. Only a FOOL DEEMS IT AS IMPOSSIBLE if he has a backward thinking of making it only for the present, not Looking outward on the bigger picture.. in this case.. for the LONG TERM FUTURE.

    again, feasibilities are mere case studies, I don't know who conducted these case feasibiity studies but I do know that whatever they did, they are not thinking in the long run of doing these studies at all.

    BRT is a CHANGE alright.. but for a SHORT CHANGE only... that's what we filipinos like to do more.. what we see today, is what we try to patch up only.. not thinking what we can really MIGHT DO to resolve it PANG LONG TERM.

    BRT merely a SHORT SIGHTED VIEW of looking it for a change... if you want to make it for LONG TERM.. I advocate still A FAST TRAIN TRANSIT.

    mao raning storyaa sa kalipay sa mga tawo/motorista nga naa'y access road sa Mambaling ang SRP...

    access road nga 2-lanes each...and 1 lane is occupied:
    - sa mga tawo nga way parkinganan pero naa'y sakyanan...
    - sa ga-negosyo ug timbang-timbang...
    - sa mga habal2x nga nag-atang sa iskina mambaling padung south...
    - sa current sitwasyon sa towing/clamping nga GANA-GANA...

    so, basically, only 1 lane can be used...

    mubo rang kalipay...short-term...

    long-term solution kinahanglan...LRT in this case...way mag-parking sa dalan...ang max makuha sa existing dalan tingali kay half-lane on each side para sa poste sa dili nauganan...ang BRT, 1 lane each...to the already congested roads...

    3 years na approve ang implementation 20 years.

    In Fairness ni Pnoy gi langay na niya kay gusto niya LRT dili jud feasible ang BRT kay gagmay karsada ... magka problema jud na sa road widening according to him .... ambot nganong gi permihan ni Pnoy na ...

    di mosugot ang mga environmentalist sa LRT kay maguba daw ang ka guapa sa Cebu ... wa hinongdan nga rason .. dili mani pa guapahay pa paspasay mani mo abot ....

    dili man sab mga PUJ ang naka traffic sa dalan mga Private Vehicle man nga mga Bati ....
