I was in Beijing when all this was happening live on TV. Since then they have been playing this in the news over and over again everyday, and it is really embarrassing. When I arrived in Hong Kong it was the same thing, the same piece of news repeated over and over again, so in case you have any doubts every single person in HK and millions of potential tourists from China have seen this. I think this will have a devastating effect on our economy. On the flight back here from Hong Kong there were barely any tourists and the plane was practically half-empty.

Some people say that they are overreacting, but I think they have a right to be. Remember when one of their writers wrote something nasty about the Philippines and everyone was up in arms about it? Now that what I call overreacting...
