Never encountered BLoops on my x8, my steps for flashing is always

Flash official 2.1
Unlock bootloader
Root with superoneclick
Install CWM recovery using x8 tool
Full wipe on recovery data/cache/dalvik

MiniCM 2.1.6 (GB 2.3.7)
nAA Kernel

I'm using the 2.1.7 version found here...

[ROM] MiniCM7-2.1.7 [21/1/12]Gingerbread 2.3.7/CM7.2 unofficial port for the §8 - xda-developers

but I copy the zip to the sd card and install via xrecovery and get the bootloop

will check out CWM and see if I can get that to work

any details on this part of the process?

For miniCM7 2.1.X to install properly you NEED:
- to read this upgrade guide
- to read that post
- to unlock your bootloader (see also here)
- to flash nAa's kernel for X8

If you already have done that, then there's something wrong with your process.
Try to do it again.

hello everyone ::

newbie here. and id be glad if someone would help me out.


so heres the story:
1. rooted my xperia arc without unlocking bootloader
2. installed titanium back up
3. deleted stock home launcher
4. installed 360 launcher
5. made 360 launcher a system app
6. installed nemus launcher
7. deleted 360 launcher
8. made nemus as system app but it took so long to do so
9. i decided to battery pull
10. turned on phone
11. stuck on sony ericsson logo. <--- thats the problem now.
