It will not solve the problem either. Prostitution is very, very rampant now and whether it's legal or not, people will still go for it, both prostitutes and customers alike, in short, it doesn't change a thing.

Rather than concerning about the legality of prostitution, if families and relationships are your concern, then we better shift and bother ourselves in instilling the right values to people. People who have the right, good, and solid values will never fall under the "prostitution trap" (this is for both prostitutes and customers).

Why legalize it? So everything will be transparent and regulated especially the health and sanitation.

First , I never said your RC and second is I could care less your a BAPTIST . The actual funny thing is , why is the BIBLE and RELIGION now associated with the legalization of PROSTITUTION ?? I am not even going to stoop down the level of discussing about RELIGION here but trust me , I do know . DO you ??

For your information my friend! i do not care what the POPE SAYS OR THE VATICAN SAYS i ONLY CARE of WHAT GOD SAYS and what JESUS CHRIST said! that we do not indulge in evil and wicked things!! thats my PRINCIPLE that i follow JESUS'S TEACHINGS!!
You are not really feeling me lols . Be smarter than that por pabor mija .

dili mana mapapas lage ang prostitution ..peru ang mainpoint kay ayaw sad na ilegalize kay daghan hinuoy mag indulge of prostitution! there will be broken relationships and broken families when that happens!
Ma indulge ? WHo would want to sell their ass for money when they can find something else ? The point is , these measures are for those existing prostitutes and to those who would want to be one soon lols . The last cited scenarios are just plain HC .

i know God said love your neighbor as you love yourself..but he also said to never indulge with wicked people! "Ye that love the LORD, hate evil..." -Psalm 97:10
QUote me when are PROSTITUTES , ROCK and ROLLERS , FEMNINIST and COMUNIST are WICKED according from your bible .

    @GODSAINT ...

I do hope you can figure out the fine line between LOGICAL REASONING and THINKING and COMMONSENSE .

HEY, HEY, HEY...all of YOU who base your moral arguments from your religion!!!

as i repeat time and time again, Prostitution is a MORALITY ISSUE...NOT A RELIGION ISSUE...DO YOU REALLY GET THE POINT OR NOT? Pls do first some "critical, logical, and analytical thinking" in order to overcome your religious bias...

AND Morality is based from a person's perspective...do you really get also the point or NOT?

AND a person's morality perspective is based on a lot of things....wa gihapon mo ka gets?

UNYA unsa man ning mga morality perspective sa usa ka tawo? Mga igsoon, mao ni:

religion perspective - mostly used in da Phils.
political perspective - mostly used in da USA & Europe.
    anthropological perspective - tribal & territorial, in-group/out-group
neuroscientific & psychological perspective - go figure this out!
    evolutionary perspective - Darwinian
    feminism - radical, liberal, existential...

AND I repeated also that: NOBODY is THE OWNER of MORAL AUTHORITY. EVEN the VATICAN or THE REST OF CHRISTIAN FAITH. ...AND THERE is NO UNIVERSAL MORALITY.

ALL MORALITY is SIMPLY RELATIVE TO TIME, PLACE, and CULTURE.

AND if a country or region is legalizing prostitution, divorce, same *** marriage, etc...you can NEVER blame them coz that is their public morality, and you can NEVER compare that with your own morality and think yours as something better or higher in standards...

As an example, when JFK was still president, he did not use his Catholic moral biases to make public morality decisions...

ang problema natong mga Pinoy, we almost always base our issues limited on Christian beliefs, thinking ours is the supreme moral authority...PLS WAKE UP!!!

SYARO wa gihapon mo ka gets?...

@giddy and to all who are in favor of the legalization:

If you base your opinion on your public morality, well thats your right but dont said that prostitution is not a religion issue for if you really believe in the teachings of your religion, you will see why you should stick in your moral behavior. The laws made by men are not are righteous as laws made by GOD.Hope kasabot na mo.
