pornography and porn sites are illegal in this country however you cant shutdown a website that is hosted on other country, you cant charge a person that is not a citizen in this country, kanang mga local nga nag host of porn sites, di sad na sila madali ug dakop kay ang mga web host karon will not release the information of the site owner unless naay court order, and our court order is not recognize if ang host naa sa lain country... except lang sa child pornography which is under international law is illegal on all countries...

PS: for tech people... whois is not enough, pwede na ma hide if you add extra payment...

are you suggesting govt spying on our internet lifestyle? well good luck about that... thats a privacy issue... and our ISP cant do it either, for them to do it, they would have to give the information of the connecting computer, which in turn identifies the user... nonetheless it can be circumnavigated such firewall, even in great firewall of china or the one in saudi arabia... it can still be accessed.... firewall can only block its access... but cannot takedown the site... if they could they could have taken down the site i developed...

i wont deny that i was once run a site back wayback early 2000, until google shut down for it was hosted in blogspot, it was against their terms... since then i never run/own any website like that, im a web developer and im not choosy of my client if my client wants me to developer a porn site i will not turn down the offer, its simply business nothing personal... if you are a business person you dont turn down clients it simply bad for business...

i was never against the ban, what im against is govt spying on me, they can spy on the public area but private area is something that im not keen with... im a information security practitioner and privacy is on top of my priorities despite that i can steal other's privacy...

atleast you should be realistic... ako ragani gi lutsan imong argument, surrender dayon ka... my arguments are on the bounds of our philippine law, i simply stay in gray areas..., what you are suggesting is invasion to our privacy... if you wanted to stop it suggest something that actually works... and not crazy/stupid ideas... that even on a very simply counter-argument it folds... only an IT person can actually suggest effective solution to the problem and not anyone...

no offense mam, i have respect on other people regardless of their gender, the solution of this issue is very simple rajud, stay at home.... di mag laag...
