There's no better tactic than to create chaos and distrust amongst superpowers while the perpetrators keep doing their illegal acts. Information flies faster today compared to 1918, yet the downside to all this is the staggering amount that one has to learn to filter.

This is no longer the age of information, but rather is the age of the human brain, specifically the capacity to obtain, analyze, and evaluate information. There is really no point to ever increasing amount of information available when the capacity for human consumption is still limited. So a good remedy is to learn to unlearn.

Also, remember that all information has monetary value which springs from the fact that anything that has value derives its value from its perceived/extrinsic importance depending on its availability and utility.

the internet has bred an entire generation of would-be conspiracy theorists that will immediately deny mainstream media as a fabrication of the big-bad west. Have you guys actually seen news presented by CNN, Fox, BBC, NBC in the west? They are pretty pessimistic about the outlook of the U.S. and the west in general. Why do you think Obama's approval rating is considered very low, much lower than when Clinton was impeached? It sure isn't RT doing the damage on Obama's presidency.
