wla man sguro gi consider sa canon ang pg restrict sa ilang sponsorship kay ang ila gi apas sguro nga mka provide sa ilang marketing strategy. bisag sa Canon Photo-Marathon pwde man gani mo join ang Nikon ambot lang ha...kung unsay nka nindot kng naay priority sa kung unsay ng sponsor.

regardless on who is the freakin sponsor, walay dapat i priority, coz afaik sinulog is a public event even if commercialized na kaayo.... the best way to control jud is DESIGNATE AN AREA FOR POTOG-RAPPER

ahhhh so unsa man gyud ang priority imo gusto, like if ang canon ni sponsor dapat first priority ang canon users or dapat for canon users ra ang sinulog photo-contest? palihug nlang ko elaborate sa imong gusto nga priority para kausa ra nya diritso puntos kay ato ni i apil sa listahan ato padala sa SFI para mka think sila sa mga suggestion ninyo

I want to know what the money they get from Canon is used for ? How much does it cost to make the T Shirt and ID / Lanyards. Who's pocket does it go into because I don't see it being used for better security or to make the photo contest better.

I honestly don't care about the contest, I have joined every year and taken thousands of Sinulog pictures and never even submitted a picture to the contest because of their rules.

RULE #4: All submitted entries shall become sole and exclusive property of Sinulog Foundation, Inc.. Meaning they own the submissions even if it is not a winning photo.

RULE #8: Winners must sign a waiver to surrender the negative winning photos to the foundation including publication rights and royalties.

They should make the T-Shirts in larger sizes for fat people like me !

Of course anyone should be able to join the contest no matter what brand gear you use. But they should have an area set up exclusive for Canon users.

Honestly if Canon was'nt the sponsor of the T-shirts I would even join. The only reason why I join is to get the Canon T-shirt. As I posted in my previous post they don't even make XX-Large T-shirts for fat people like me. I would even pay extra for a fat person Canon T-shirt !

Spectators are complaining that photographers are in the way of their viewing. But the security is a joke at Sinulog, they let anyone with in the rope area and it seems like foreigners can go where ever they want.

They should fine people if they go with in the rope area with out proper ID, that would be a good way to make money for the next years Sinulog. Use the money from the fines and buy proper wooden barricades.

From what I understand the Sinulog foundation also gets a lot of student volunteer to act as security. Since they don't have to pay these student volunteers, again I have to question what is the Canon sponsor money being used for ? How is it going back to the photographers who take the pictures to promote their event ?

Photographer man sad ko, but I hope na ang uban after makakuha sa picture kay mopadaplin na to give way sa uban na mu.take ug pix, in that way dili magkagubot.
