I have one question to those who prefer to go on an all-out-war against these guys.

Do you think its any worth? What benefit does killing these rebels give the rest of the country? Economy wise? Save a few soldier's lives? End tyranny? I doubt any of these are applicable. Killing these guys only save a few lives. Tyranny will conquer the place forever, no denying on that.

Unlike the one we have at Libya right now, people want Gadaffi dead because of Tyranny, Manslaughter and the economy is slowly dying there. Libya was facing something similar to the Third Reich. Liberating Libya will open gates to their oil to the rest of the world. What does Mindanao have anyways? It's nothing to the Third Reich, more like just a small scale rebellion.

I don't deny I want an all out war. To go on an all-out-war doesn't have real benefits. You know, kill a few muslims I guess? Not worth it.

I'd like to think that he will tell the press one thing and then tell the black ops guys/spec ops guys another thing. As one poster puts it: "Time for a news black-out."

But this ALL SPECULATION at this point.

istoryahe....those dead meat soldiers are SF trainee they are actually on a test mission. Which is actually a requisite before you admitted to an elite fighting group(a special group w/c we will never know) but on that day their position was compromise so that's what happen to them. Makes you wonder about the situation the whole damn firefight took almost a day to wrap it up haven't those poor soldiers call-up a reinforcement? since they beleive they are up to a 500 ragtags armed bandits did they bring a communication radio or something even just a simple cellphone? this case has to be investigated becoz this situation is an embarassment to our armed forces.

and what you gonna do to the military? Imagine they can't patrol a specific area because it is under MILF territory? WTF? MILF is under our Republic and not above it. We're just giving them too much liberty. IMHO.

fyi, Al-Barka is the same area in Basilan where 14 Marines were beheaded in 2007. Identified na jud ne nga lugar nga stronghold sa mga rebelde. Naay tay istoryan nga former scout ranger maayo unta makashare sad siya regarding ane nga lugar. Basin naassign ne siya diri.
