what we are discussing here... is the concept of man having evolved from ape-like creatures... as ive said... evolution might be true to other creatures... but not with humans... apes and humans might have "similiraties"... pero diha ra jud kutob... i have even read one article that "yeasts" and humans have genetic similarities as well... hahayz...

have i seen God? no... He can't be seen... "God is spirit"... no human ever saw God... we aren't deserving "yet" to see Him... have i seen God did something awesome? YES... look around... a meteor descent which you call an "awesome shit" is just a negligible event that what God can do... we have Spirits... that's an amazing gift from God...

just think of these questions:
"Will you believe that nobody created all of these?"
"Is the universe just an accident?"
"Humans are just animals?"

i created my own robot for my research a year ago... and it took me months to finish a system with little intelligence and limited mechanism... and then i wondered... will things just exist for no reason? and will humans create robots that could even closely equal that of humans... scientists say so... but for me... that is merely a product of human fantasy and pure fiction... of trying to challenge God... that they are better than Him... they are more superior than Him... and ignoring His existence... as ive said bro... logic is my evidence...

and believers of human evolution still could not be able to provide their "evidence" of the missing link... instead... they are trying to insist on the genetic similarities... considering the fact that they have already discovered our assumed descendants of humans which existed millions of years earlier than the "missing link"... so it must be easier for them to look for that missing fossil than the australopithecus whatever... again... ill give them all the time they want to look for that missing link which never existed...

the Bible is a bronze-age book? it is a harsh insult for us Bible believers... it is this bronze-age book that even during the time when humans believed that the earth was flat... the Bible is already telling humans that our planet has a round shape (Isaiah 40:22)... you might argue that technically... "circle" meant a two-dimensional figure... but the Bible already gave early humans the idea of our planet's shape even before this was proven a scientific fact...

i consider myself a technologically-inclined person... i am as well amazed with how science helped us in medicine, transport, and all other things that you mentioned escpecially electronics (coz im an ece)... but did the theory of human evolution helped us in any way? it never did for me... and for me... my belief isn't pathetic...

It is not to offend anybody ha but this is just my opinion..
I think if you really closed your mind to the wonders of science then bisan iladlad pa nimo evidence dili jud na makit-an..
People tend to resort to a Supreme Being than to check science since it's easier to reason out that everything was made and created by just a stroke of a magic wand...
Their best argument is "because the Bible said so" which lead me to another question..

How much do you really know about the Bible? coz I think ato nahibaw-an is based lang sa Sunday Mass..

The Genesis creation story alone if you take a carefull scrutiny imo makita nga duha kabouk ang version..

the Bible is a book which we have decided on our previous nga mga posts... not to be taken literally... so if people... mis-interpret the verses... diha musulod ang contradictions... and usahay... there are also some verses sa Bible... especially between the Old and New Testament... that are "seemingly" contradicting... pero dili gud... the old commandments were amended by the new commandments... the Gospel... so if sa old testament nagmention bawal ang baboy... sa new testament... pwede ang baboy... they may seem contradicting... pero dili gud...

im not so sure bai sa imong giingon nga duha ang version sa Genesis bai... usa ra man jud... di ko familiar ana bai...

nope bro... i may have used an inaccurate term (amendment) for it... but what i meant was... there are laws in the old testament that are no longer applicable in the modern times (e.g. animal sacrifice)... but instead... Christians are now practicing the "spiritual" meaning of it... sacrifice in the sense of following all His commandments and carrying our crosses everyday... coz if we are still to follow the old commandment of animal sacrifices.. mas samot ming i-ridicule sa ubang mga tawo di ba?

Jesus and the Almighty Father aren't literally one... as in the Father is the same person as the Son... nope... it is called united oneness... not absolute oneness... coz if you are just to scroll down on the succeeding verses... John 10:37 particularly saying "Do not believe me unless I do what my Father does."... implying the united oneness of the Father and the Son ("do what my Father does.")

in Jeremiah 13:14... Our Lord is talking to a specific group of people who are continually doing evil deeds despite of all the warnings He has made... just scroll up and youll see...

in Ecclesiastes 1:18... "much wisdom" is the key... have you heard of the saying "too much of something is not enough"? same concept...
in 1 Corinthians 1:19... again scroll down... and youll see that the verse is talking about two kinds of wisdom... worldly wisdom and the wisdom of God...

in Exodus 15:3... this was taken from a song of praise to the Lord... and just read again the succeeding verses... this was in relation on how the Lord helped Israel against the Pharaoah... it think you are already familiar of the story...

that's one of the reasons sad maong para sa ubang tawo... mucontradict... the Bible should be taken as a whole... not just by a verse or two...

ako na nabasa ang katong imong giingong contradiction kuno sa creation sa Genesis bro... ang Chapter 1 man gud bai... kung mga ordinaryong libro pa nato na... mura na siya ug "summary"... ang chronology sa creation from Day 1 to 6... and take note again... dili ni siya literal 24-hr day...

then ang nahitabo sad sa Chapter 2... mao ni siyay "detailed" description sa nahitabo sa Day 6... kung diin Iyang gihimo ang tawo... no contradiction for me...
