----you just answered your own question master...hahaha...supposing we have an airplane with 2 main engines and 2 back up engines, the 2 main engines would need to stress out and produce a significant amount of thrust to compensate for the added weight of the backup engines...maypa gamiton nalang ang backup engines og apil...hehe...an airbus A320-200 is powered by 2 CFM56-5 engines that weigh almost 5,000lbs each...so 10,000lbs all in all ang timbang sa engine pa lang daan...so supposing we add another 2 back up engines of the same model meaning another 10,000 pounds so 20,000lbs na tanan sa engines lang...then ang main engines ra atong gamiton to produce thrust for a 93,500lbs airbus A320 + 10,000lbs backup engines...whew! mabughat jd ang atong main engines ana...
