This is an incident that could trigger a lot of violence in Mindanao. Some would even speculate a spillover of the "war" in some other provinces in Mindanao because of what happened. For that, the president declared a state of emergency if only to maintain peace and order.

The main reason is for the declaration of state of emergency is to prevent further escalation of violence. Of course, the civilians living in the area are already afraid of what might happen to them. With the family feud becoming serious, no one should be complacent.

asa man diay ni nga law nakabutang if dili sa constitution? maybe imo pasabot naay law pero dili warlordism as established or directly quoted as... so there it is as you said they are legal armies...

Aside from the Constitution which only stated as defined by law .... its the rule of the Congress to define which law is to be enacted .... and there is no law that defined the prohibition of Political Dynaties.

I think warlordism is under in Comelec Electoral laws ... correct me if im wrong.

They are legal armies kay Civilian Volunters and CHDF na sila but unfortunately gi himong goons.

Mindanao must always be in state of emergency because of violence in the area. I pity those innocent mediamen and women killed. All armed non-militia must not be tolerated.
