what these people did was not islam. they are the ones who turned thier back to Islam. this horrifying behaviour is not Islam, never been and will be, no matter what kind of self serving justification the terrorists use.

1. In ISLAMIC world politics and religion are merged.
- "terrorist attacks since 1980 have in common is not religion "
this is political implication of the act. but remember "promise of a martyr's paradise in the hereafter" is a religions implication. Therefore, the act itself is political but fuelled with religious belief.

2. From Lebanon to Chechnya to Kashmir to Sri Lanka to the West Bank, every suicide terrorist campaign since 1980 has had as its main objective to compel a democratic state to withdraw combat forces from territory that the terrorists prize.
- Islamic countries are the hotbed of terrorism.
Right now, what I had seen is [b]NOT[b] that same objective: withdrawal of combat forces, but rather a conflict betwee shi'ite and sunni. Whatever the conflict is its fuelled by thier religious FAITH.
