many sources of text acknowledge the existence of these people in their time. and also, they wrote their own books, that's why these men are acknowledged to have existed..
You know bro mao ni ako g mean na sayop, u know like JESUS kini cla mga thingkers before doesnt have there works written, and if naa dili pud cla nag buhat or nag write, CUS the bible itself is a collection of books it is the library of the CHRIST HISTORICAL existense. CUS if you can see like plato and the others mau nalang if nay two or three of there existing writings that have survive and most of them is not written by themselves but by there proponents and followers and believers.
I dont really mind if you believe in JESUS my friend cus its your friend total wala man sad na mugus si JESUS that you should believe in him, how ever if you choose to, then i can say thats a good choice.
actually bro, some people you mention have their own books written. like aristotle for example.. in fact, sa ka-influential ni aristotle sa iyang mga writings, mao na basis sa atong christianity from middle ages up to now. the pythagoreans and their mathematical contributions especially. parmenides and zeno of elea, naa sila mga writings na sa ilang time jud.. plato and euclid.. kanindot ra ani ilang mga books, plato's republic and book of elements ni euclid..
the difference lng tingale kay these books don't describe the author's life, the books are treasured more for what they have contributed or taught us..
as for jesus christ, murag wa lng to siya swerte in terms of publicity sa libro.. mao na questionable iyang existence in that respect. books are the only source of evidence ra man gud kung history ang istoryahan.. and how authentic these books are always the initial question into a historical approach. pun-an pa jud na daghan na diay parallel story na kaparehas jud ni jesus christ.. ang kanang uban diha? like aristotle? or euclid? unsa man ilang mga parallel stories na maka-question sa ilang validity? murag close to none man tingale..
mao ra na xa bro..
plus minus a couple hundreds of centuries from now...that harry potter poster can go toe to toe with any biblical characters.
FYI, lapu lapu cant qualify as a PINOY hero...he was a PIRATE, and he killed those foreign hordes due to personal/financial issues not out of NATIONALISM.![]()
what is the commonality between Gautama, Socrates, Christ?
they never wrote a single text. But does that mean they dont have any historical existence?
a person who says that they did not exist is either a fool, or a genius. the latter, quite rare - very rare because a condition of proving that they did not exist must be presented.
haha.. basig ampo-an nila sa Hermoine nya..
bitaw, in fairness to Jesus Christ, kana ra man iyang divinity gi-question with respect to the parallel stories being provided.. as for some of his parables, and stories in the gospels, they teach very basic human values na either na-tudlo na pud sa uban mga enlightened persons, or wala pa.. iya2x jud na na style..
its more like an exaggerated chismis that got out of hand, waaaaaaaaaaaaay out of this world disproportionate... what else can we expect from oral tradition.
like if we find a pot of cash in an open field. if we adapt the over exaggeration tactic it would come out like it was dropped from the heavens by some mysterious force or being. ooooooh.
now i need somebody to back me up/second the motion until it reaches epic/legendary status.![]()
sayon ra man na iback-up bro.. ngano sa usa ka gospel, missing man ang birth of christ ug iyang ascension? unya sa book ni Mark ba to? the earliest book written, walay birth of christ, ug iyang ascension..
parehas ra na ni Pacman gud.. some of the locals believe he is superman..basig sunod ani, gikan na xa sa planet krypton.. ug makaduot ra niya kay kryptonite..
pero saonz, ang uban tawo, sensitive man gud.. basa2x bitaw ko ngadto kang pacman na forum, maglagot ang uban kung ingnon nimo na dili na superman si manny pacquiao oist!
