paet pero tinood, labi na nga daghan pod kaayo nga agency nga mag sige pod ug tental aron maka pirma dayon ka ug contract, kay dako man sila ug makwarta kung dili mo human ang nurse sa contract..... daghan nurses diri UK ako nahibaw an nga nakapirma na ug contract for US, but since nga wala pa dyapon klaro ang retrogression, karon ning balik na pod ug Jan 2005 ang priority date, ang uban kay nag pirma na ug contract sa uban agency for other countries like Australia, Canada or New Zealand kay sure man sila nga in less than a year makalarga dayon.....

well, i wish all nurse are like u but too bad, they're not! ang uban mo ingon k ra ky kalusot sila pag AWOL nila and wa sila gukda sa employer. nag-salig sila na naa nila ang ila green card/permanent resident cardnpero ang wa nila nahibaw na ang ila card ky E-32 na klase and dependent sa employer petition. by the time na apply sila for citizenship, naa hold ang employer ky ang record reflect sa ila na name. they can always write the INS na wa nipadaun ang worker nila. i dont know regarding the whole process but mao ni ako na dunggan sa HR amo hospital ky nahitabo pod ni sa amo dri.

delikado kaayo kung ang imo green card e-revoke by the time apply ka for naturalization and ma-converted ka for another one so balik ka sa uno na pod. ang better buhaton is d ka awol mas, mau na mo pranka nlang ka sa employer and meet agreements nalang ky limpyo pa ang transactions ninyo.

OT: i know FOCUS. Cambridge healthcare here in Maryland is tied up with them. i know the president of Cambridge its Linda LaHart, she used to be our VP of Patient Care Services at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore for 14yrs then before she decided to make her own recruitment agency. 2 of her managers are from the same hospital and one of them is my Unit Nurse Mgr. hehheee...

I hope nga they will give a clearer picture as regards to the time frame involved kung mang recruit sila ug nurses (especially going to US), kay daghan nya magdahom nga makalarga dayon kung makapasar ug NCLEX, where in fact, nobody can tell tungod sa retrogression, basi modagan pa ug 5 years bag o maka larga kung walay kausaban sa visa allocation para US.....

with the never-ending retrogression, current US economic recession that will be potentially be worse than The Great Depression in the 30's and the almost unsolvable $34 Trillion dollar of America's medicare that no presidential candidate even wants to talk about, would you nurses still want to go to America?

karon expect that they will only process Working permits kung gusto madali BUT here is the catch....do u have a long or extensive experience in the field? mao ni ang pinaka requirement sa working visa ky para na supposedly sa special areas ni or higher positions gyud unta ni. other agencies have their way on this sa ila processing. m sure FOCUS is processing this one these days....ky mao ni ang nangabot sa hospitals ron na gi assign nila sa maryland.
