Thats a lot of wasted space on SmartBar XP. What resolution are you running? Seems like your height is bigger than you width.

OD Plus still isn't mature. Maybe thats why it's called beta. It's crashed a couple times on me. I finally figured out you should use the drawers as well as the dock itself to be effective. I like it though, it needs to be a little more stable. The Fly-Out menu, although it worked after install, stopped working after restart. Toni has had the same problem it seems. I can't wait for it to become final. For now it has replaced my Windows taskbar.

Vern, i'm using a Sony/SG 21' wide monitor wit 10:16 aspect ratio.

Vern, it's a shame that OD+ has these bugs, cos i really love it. the flyouts stopped working for you too? It seems to work fine here in the office. Also when i try to put a folder shortcut on the dock or tab it crashes on me.

visual, try www.stylesuites.com, i got some tasty mac themes there. There are a lot in deviantart as well (although browsing through them can be a chore).

Chronnus, I tried the link you gave me, but yes, indeed: it was a chore, and I did find some skins, but I never found flyakite anywhere through google. All the links were as dead as zombies.

As with OD+, I haven't tried downloading it.. 9 MB is too much for my dialup I'm happy with OD 1.02.

Any of you guys tried Desktop X? I know I wouldn't.... unless I have something like 2 GB of memory and a 256 mb video card..

Im running 1024x768 on a 32 bit color quality... Yeap its a lot of wasted space... but no worries it has an auto hide feature.. Btw I have experience OD plus crashes also... I wonder when will they release a stable version

Tried using Desktop X also... got it uninstalled it eats up a lot of my system resources... hehehe :P

Be aware of the risks in using flyakite .

DesktopX takes up too much memory for my tastes, try out Kapsules.
