there is a forecast that the dollar will go down further to 38 this year. if what we are talking about is a big amount, then better sell it now. and invest in a mutual fund, that way you can recover what you already lost rather than waiting for a year orso only to lose more.

actually the real value of the dollar today is P34.. thanks to BSP for buying and hoarding dollars to control the swift appreciation of the peso against the dollar and to beef up our international reserves.

BSP or OFW? BSP is just a tool/agency. A family member worked in BSP for 25 years.

BTW, the peso DID NOT appreciate, the dollar simply depreciated. if the value of the peso indeed appreciated in its OWN MERITS, then the conversion rates for OTHER currencies should have gone down but that's not what is happening.
