Almost impossible man sad magka virus ka sa Linux.

Installing Ubuntu is not as simple as popping in the CD and following onscreen instructions. Nia'y akoang step by step. I hope wa koy nakalimtan ani.
1. Prepare your hard drive. Ug bag o imo hard drive, himoi ug partitions. I assume you will be dual-booting with XP. Make the following partitions:
a) 1 partition for your XP installation.
b) if you wish, pwede pod ka maghimo ug partition para sa imong files.
c) 1 partition for Linux. Lain ang filesystem sa Linux(ext2, ext3, reiserfs). Dili siya makainstall sa NTFS/FAT32 nga partition. You may create an NTFS partition for Linux but this will be reformatted to ext3 during Ubuntu installation. The minimum requirement for Ubuntu is 4GB but 10-15 will be more realistic. Daghan kaayong nindot nga mga software nga i -install nimo later so mas maayo nga maggahin ka ug space daan. Remember the partition size for this, dako ni ug tabang sa mosunod unya nga mga steps.
d) 1 small partition for the Ubuntu swap files. This is usually twice the RAM size.
Kun nahuman na nimo ug himo nang step 1, you have completed the most crucial step in installing Ubuntu.
2. Load the Ubuntu Live CD into the CD - ROM Drive and reboot. During boot up, i set sa imong BIOS nga moboot una from CD ROM.
3. The Live CD will boot and in a minute or two, you will have a fully functional Linux Desktop.
4. Install Ubuntu by clicking on the Install icon on the Desktop.
5. The first few questions are no-brainers (time zone, keyboard). Then you will get to the part where Ubuntu asks you to which partition you will install it.
6. Once you get to that part, select "Manual" (can't remember the exact words). You will then be given a list of partitions available in your hard drive. Choose the partition which you set aside for Linux. Then click on "Edit Partition". On the Mount Point selection box, select "/". "/" means it's the root partition-the partition where the Linux OS will be installed. And also select "ext3" on the "Filesystem" selection box. Click "OK". Then tick on the "Format drive" check box. You have just told Ubuntu where to install its system. Next the swap partition.
7. Let's assign the swap partition this time. Click on the partition which you have set aside for swap. Click on "Edit Partition" again. On the "Mount Point", select "swap". Click Ok. Now you're done with the most delicate part in installing Ubuntu. Click on "Next".
8. You will be asked for a few more personal information like your name and the desired name of your Ubuntu account. Again these are very easy.
9. Wait for the installation to complete.
10. In 20 minutes or so, Ubuntu will inform you that the installation has been completed and will present a button for you to click on to restart your computer. Remember to read the messages before clicking on anything. Your PC will now restart and will prompt you to remove the Live CD and press Enter.
System restarts. You're done.
Let's connect to the internet. I'll assume you are using Smartbro/DSL. Linux installation automatically detects your internet connection. Open Firefox, you will be taken to Smartbro activation page. Activate your account. You are now ready to surf the internet.
You may wish to install the drivers of your video card so you can enjoy Compiz-Fusion. On the Gnome Panel (top panel), click on "System>Administration>Restricted Drivers Manager". You will be asked to type in your password. The RDM will then display the devices in your system that will require installation of their drivers. Just click on whichever device for which you want the driver installed and Ubuntu will do the rest for you. You will need an internet connection for this. And you must also restart your pc.
I hope this helped. Good luck.
