This song was written in 1991 by a 12 year old kid who though he was in love with this 11 year old girl.
Hence some of the dumbest lyrics ever recorded ever.
It was the first song he ever wrote and he wrote it on his piano. It was originally recorded by his band ATB in 1992 but it was never aired over the radio. In this version, the arrangement was worked around The Piano. It did get widespread attention from girls at CIC and USS-south because it was copied a lot.
In 1995, it was revived by the band Fivez, whose two founding members came from ATB. The newer recording was arranged as a guitar piece, but it still has the dumbest lyrics ever written. But then again, the lyrics were written by a stupid 12 year old.

If you asked me, what saves this song is the spectacular rearrangement in 1995 by Sam Codilla and the awesome guitars of Steve Dinampo. The 1992 version was like a bad New Kids on the Block song.

i'll try if mapangita nako ang showground na tape nako kay ako itransfer into mp3. Idol man gud nako si Lloyd Escario nga taga Mabolo sa una during those days he encourage me alot into music wait lang bahalag bati pagkarecord kay tape into mp3 ako himuon magpasalamat lang kang Lloyd hehehe haven't seen him for quite a time now!
