I understand that China has been accused several times for bribing leaders in Africa and SEA, even to the point that many says Africa is now a colony not by the west but by China. But they can only bribe corrupt people not Duterte.

The road to perdition is paved with good intention. I still do think that digong's warming up to China has good intentions written over it.
It's just this road he is treading is quiet a perilous one.

I don't know how deep his inter government intelligence and the logic going to China, but I'm still holding him to his words because he usually does straight talks, when he said that China helps in building without predisposition. This might have truth to it but I'm leaving this with the hind-thought that.

For sure China has ulterior motives on this.

For Philippines not to pursue and keep bugging them in expanding their territory for resources, they will help Philippines in building it's internal infrastructures.

When the time comes that the Philippines has enough that it can stand on it's own and wants to expand outwards thus pursue ownership of the West Philippine Sea. China will on the other hand will say stop for a while. You have this so and so debt, I'm holding you Philippines to keep your end of the bargain. This would probably cause conflict if not treaded smartly.

However, the smart thing to do would be to talk about it and share resources. China would say I'll keep the parameters secure because I already have installed this much weapons, while we mine together.
China has no other way because it knows that it cannot win international favor as their is already the Hague Ruling. What it can do is talk about sharing.

I don't think it will go to war but that's another matter for some other time.

Got your point bro. I'm just concerned sa atong status ron. I'm pretty sure nga in the future, we will owe China a lot and what if moabot na ang point nga daghan na kaayo taga utang kabubut.on then they will ask for something in return nga dli nato kayang buhi.an? Say land or whatever.

Have you ever had that feeling nga dli ka ganahan mopahuwam sa imong butang but just because dako na kaayo kag utang kabubut.on sa nanghuwam then imo nalang ipahuwam? Murag inana nga case boss ba.

I'm not saying that it will go to war but we should be more vigilant with their motives. PDut talks straight and saludo kaayo ko ana nga kabuot but wa ta kabalo ug unsay naa sa huna2 sa China. I got same feeling with you nga wala ni bad intentions ang China towards us. But WHAT IF naa?
