Ang technician ilisi..gapractice pa na.
siawa ana imo technician TS ui
but anyway sa imong kaso karon ana imo lappy. it can be also a hard disk problem like others said here on this thread icheck ang health ana via Hard Disk Sentinel/Ashampoo HDD Control aron mabaw an ug naa bay problema or basin naa nanay BAD SECTOR. and speaking about the RAM. pwede paka mag add ug another 2gb ddr3 sa usa ka slot ana sa imo lappy aron lahus ka 64bit version of W10
@dormzgnrlover86 bro, makaya ra ning processor i3 if I will just put 8gb RAM? Pasensya na im not familiar with computer hardware..
akong laptop specs sa room:
Toshiba Satellite C655
celeron 900 single core
2GB ddr3 800mhz
320GB hd
OS: Windows 8.1 32-bit/Windows Defender
boot time:5-8 seconds
swabe man lageh...
to know more boss @Kristiano adto sa site sa brand anang imo laptop. i search na nga model then tan awa sa specs niya if pila ka gb ang pwede ugrade. normally sa mga laptop pwede na 8-16gb ram
afaik intel uses color coding for each CPU they release Black , White and Blue. Though i haven't heard about Gold. They say its a sort of branding that distinguished which CPU are suited for gaming, server and casual using. I have seen those 3 colors already and black is normally used in high-end rig where blue is the common, and white i only seen it on ultrabook, so i guess the white is for slow units.. but gold thats a new one... i gues...
And also from a technician perspective, RAM limit are dictated by motherboard, however how much RAM usage is dictated by the CPU, so yes you can run 32bit OS on a machine with 16GB ram, though an overkill since 32bit uses only maximum of 4GB... i used to run multi boot... Win10 (64bit), Hackintosh/Yosemite/El Capitan (64bit) and Ubuntu (32bit, though sa ubuntu is already an overkill since i intentionally use 32bit as test bench for my project) on my lappie which has 8GB ram and Samsung EVO SSD (taken from my NEO laptop).
though i maybe wrong since i havent assembled a Desktop PC for quite sometime. since i deal with big servers now.
I think you should look for a better technician, murag gapataka lang to or nanigbas para mangwarta... i know coz i used to be like that nga pangwartahan ang client hahahahahahahaha mo charge ug maski unsa nalang ang using technical words para di mabuking.... olrayt!!!
i have my old dell precision workstation 390 pang 2006 model... katong stock pa sya sobra ka hinay gyud murag di na magamit... akong gi upgrade ang processor into quadcore Q6600 pero initially ang RAM ani 2GB ra then ako sad gi upgrade videocard GTS 250 1GB nag SSD ko 240GB then nka win 10 64bit.. hinay gihapon... akong gihimo upgrade ram to 8GB... murag nka inom ug v*agra. i didnt expect it to be this fast... bottle neck sad gyud ang RAM basta 2GB ra nya 64bit imong OS...
Upgrading to SSD or to a higher capacity RAM will not solve your problem.
It's an O.S. Problem.
I am now encountering a slowdown on my newly bought (1-week old) laptop with Windows10 O.S.. A lot of people are complaining about this Anniversary Update that made their lappies unworkable. The new Update setting in Windows10 does not makes you choose when or when not to run web updates and system update, it will work on your background thus slowing your PC. There are some tweaks and secrets on how to turn off this Windows Update but the problem still persist on mine. Try rolling back to Windows 7.
i don't think it's an issuficient RAM capacity problem, kay although we can't deny na 2GB RAM is not enough, but it should not cause a severe slowdown sa regular use.
Try searching sa international forums about Windows10 updating/slowing down issue.

The auto updates indeed make your machine slower because it uses a lot of resources. You can check them simply via task manager. Expect a lot of updates if you bought a new machine. Once the updates are done, your machine goes back to normal. But that doesn't mean the OS itself is making your machine slow.
