really depends on your so called applications AND your LAN infrastructure ^_^..., I skimmed on its product info..., wala lacp?

this is 'why' I was very curious on your querry..., you are getting Lamborghini/Ferrari type vehicles on which you are just running it on city streets (small/short distances with many curves [hence the LAN])... ie.., not a good pair.

but..., if really have the budget..., why not!? ^_^..., its just that dual procs paired with greater than 1Gbps LAN resides on mid tier enterprise/level stuff..., yet..., I might be wrong.

It might be too overkill if hardware is not intended for its purpose. Pero if naay budget TS, then why not. I am currently building one using Supermicro server hardware. And yes, dual Xeon processors have been here a long time. I can help you sa setup TS, pero I dont know asa mga stores diha sa Cebu.

Current build for 15-20 Virtual Machine with Windows Server 2012 R2 (tried ESXi pero mahal license):

    2x Intel Xeon CPU E5 2620 v3 2.4Ghz 15MB cache
    Supermicro serverboard and 2U chassis
    8x 16GB DDR4 2133 ECC Memory
2x 500GB Intel SSD configured as RAID 1 for OS
6x 6TB WD Red NAS HDD configured as RAID 10 for Data and VM archive
Adaptec RAID card with battery backup
