kerio > netlimiter..just identify ports kng asa mgupdate ang games then ayaw ilimit or limit port TCP/UDP443,80,8080 then rest BW sa games na..or reserve BW browsing and game ports para kng wlay gagamit sa usa moad2 sa pikas or vice versa..pero kng sila duha ang busy they have a guaranteed BW..
Hardware?Vbox ra nya 8gb virtual disk and 1gb ram and at least 2Vlans

just tried a bit of kerio as per your links provided via pm...

installs very fast, boots up very decently!

just noticed that it uses a competitors product in the anti virus field (sophos) ug ambot ngano kaha ^_^

kerio does have upnp!, dili labad for torrents.
would like to try this up pero..., hangyo lang ko nimo...

pm/post daw ani mga screenshots sa imo kerio if you are able to:
-Traffic Rules
-Bandwidth Management and QoS
-Content Filter

pinaka importante nako is bandwidth management and qos, if kaya nimo, i-apil ang uban

pabor pako gamay sa ako sophos..., ang ako lang wala kit-i sa sophos is ang upnp support if mag torrent ko..., and limited ra to 50 IP's..., and best of all free (but free man sab ang kerio ^_^, in our ways)


side note:
na-a ko problema sa vmware kay ako configuration sa ako modem kay bridge mode (in order to avoid double natting...)
ma-ayo tong nag linux OS ko (gentoo) kay maka passthrough man kog pci/pci-e devices, to make it short..., dili ko ka pppoe directly sa VM , either in virtualbox or vmware workstation using windoze 7

kerio1( dsl1 & dsl2 failover) > kerio2(kerio1 50%DL 100%UP to games + (dsl3 + remaining DL from kerio 1 load balanced))

hardware is very capable, I just dont know unsa imo load ani...
theoretically..., wala problem daisy-chaining kerio I guess...
anyways, why need multiple kerio VM's while I believe it can be accomplished with 1 kerio instance...
