Its just a western tradition. Santa Clause, Christmas tree, rabbit and egg on easter, halioween. Sometimes I find it irritating why the Philippines is copying pine trees, santa clause and halloween. Maybe because its "sosyal". Good thing the bunny and the egg is not a big deal here. The average people don't even know about it.
