python is good but not if you want to support your family kay you are up for a long job hunting. go with the easiest then learn it once stable na sa trabaho, thats what i do, i do both python and php
Python is like being in a band, its cool and awesome, but let's face it... not everyone made it to stardom and end-up playing in bars, where they dont earned enough...
Hi bro. its really cool na imo gibutang imo inputs about Php vs Python. hehe D ko mulalis kay ako bago ra sad jd ko sa web programming. Coming from an embedded/mobile background mura ko og nishift og new tech. hehe nishare lng ko kay ang python may pinakadali ko nkagets sa web compared sa php. Pero you are ryt sad grabe ang hiring sa PHP labi na sa cebu. Nafeel lng nako na mura beginner pa ang nag post sa Thread and I gave options lang for him.
Kay sa tinuod lng pd bsan unsa pa na na language pareho ra jd na og style tanan. They have their own pros and cons and their own place. As a programmer in any field what matters is to pick a language that can be the right tool for what your application needs to do and is somewhat easy for you, also to have the right approach on how you use the language and lastly ang result sa imo work kung unsa sya karelevant og helpful sa imong end user(be a client or non-software people) kay at the end of the day when your software meets their need, Money will come find you.
But I really appreciate your answer bro as I am trying also to learn web programming, dako kaau kog respeto sa mga web developers. Akoa lng ning opinion prior sa akong experience sa industry. more power ug God bless you bro!
Thank you sa tanan nag reply.. dili nako mareplyan tanan tagsa tagsa but Thank you para gyud nis tanan I realy mean it...
Ok ang HTML and ccs wed developer panindot sa webpage so if Back end ang PHP sa ato pa samai kalahian diay sa PHP(database to PHP, PHP to html css aron makita sa web).. sa ato pa samai kalahian diay sa javascript and PHP?
i understand situation... i too came from a computer technician turn vb programmer now web developer.... one of the reason why i stick with php is that oppurtunity that time taas pa kaayo and im comfortable with it... if kugihan lang di jud maglisod sa kwarta kay pwede ra left and right ang project... i still practice python once in a while nalang mostly sa pentesting... so for beginners... go for a language that you are comfortable and not because its trending... there is no perfect language only programmers...
