every week I can great read news about earth like planets being discovered but the frustrating part is that it'd take us decades for just an exploration on mars. new titan mission also looks cool but timeline is way too long.

do we have some progress on the warp drive?

warp drive or any other interstellar travel needs lots of energy.

We need to upgrade to Civilization type II to be able to travel outside our solar system, currently, we're at Civilization type 0.

yes, that's the biggest hurdle we have to face. Power and Energy source. Its going to be useless if we find hundreds of habitable planets yet, we can't travel to there. Warp drives, FTL drives, hypersperspace/jump drives are still stuff of science fiction nowadays.

Getting to mars is the first step. I am positive that the future generations will be able to overcome these obstacles.
