Let say another 100 years. Hantod karon naa pa mga pictures gikan sa earliest camera. Now kaning gipang post post nato sa internet mo last ba jud ni?

yep.. ma-survive ra as long as ang server is ok.. kita ka sa videos early 1900's .. dba hangtud ron naa japon.. 100yrs nana xa..
kanang atong gi-upload sa internet lets say FB.. naa japon na bsta as long as naa pa c FB sa panahon ana.. ^_^
ang nag-gunit sa tanan files ana is ang server.. bsta dli lang maguba.. ok japon.. nway naa mana cla mga back up servers..

AFAIK kasagaran sa mga DB karon kay soft delete ra ila buhaton. i-mark ra na nila as "deleted" pero naa gihapon ang data.

Since we can convert data into signals, say we are going to send a signal to the Pleiades Star Cluster system which has a xxxx number of light years, then that means that the signal can survive for million/billion years... just a thought though

Probably, in the other side of the coin,
It won't last longer due to the mass amount of usage.
Better have a hard copy of your pictures then.

mo last ra man jud nah ang pictures posted on social network, as long as ni last pud ang ga host sa server. If dili ganih aw bye2x jud imong mga pictures. Take for example ang friendster, daghan kaayo kog mga karaan nga pictures nga na post didto, den nauso ug kalit ang facebook nya wala nako ka login balik. Pag balik nakog check kay magkuha tah kog mga karaan nga pics from previous friends, nahimo naman noun ug gaming site ang friendster kay ni focus na silag games2x. Murag 2 months after jud diay to pag check nako, nga gi down nah nila ang previous server, wa jud nako maback up tawn akong mga pics kay ni send ta diay to silag notifications sa email nya puno mag spam akong email. tsk3x. Hopefully, facebook won't suffer the same fate. Nature raba sa tawo kay pul anon, unsay bag uso adto kahig tanan,hehe.
