    in short as long as your finish product has a life cycle and includes all artifacts to support the iteration then there's no problem. decision making on which tool to used depends on the needs of the end-user. many companies are now suffering from abrupt migration due to their belief that the newer the better. i always agree for upgrades but there's always a deeper analysis to be done before making a move and bulk of methodologies are applied.

    IMO you are again exposing your weakness. if you are new in programming don't discriminate any PL because it's too easy for the seniors to measure your capability. perhaps you are too fresssshhhhh in programming to declare any PL as dead. analyzing your skill is like debugging a single line of code that won't take a fraction of a second.

    I guess, you have not yet been born as I started programming... I program in assembler, c, c++ and delphi since more then 25 years professional, so please keep your comment, I am sure I know better what the world outside the Philippines want, considered that I am a foreigner...

    wow! nice to know you Mr Foreigner. how pity. if we are going to dissect your declared 25 years in programming I'm sure you did not have proper understanding on the big factors to consider in choosing a PL. try to ask your S.A. what are the methodologies before deciding a PL.

    @abloyboat

    pls lang ibutang ang co. name kay kung wala gibutang mura ra list lang sa mga PL nga ganahan sa programmer.

    aron ba kadtong nangita pa unsay PL study-han sa uban, maka pili sila unsay ilang study-han. maybe naa sila kaila sa GLOBE, ganahan siya mo sulod sa GLOBE, nya makita man nato diri nga ang GLOBE nigamit ug VB. so VB iyang study-han.

    akong kauban diri sa work, gikan ni siya sa GLOBE. ingon siya ang sa office daw ang gamit PowerBuilder para sa mga office reports. mga ginagmay daw nga program, pag generate sa mga reports PowerBuilder ang gamit.
