People say that Davaoenos are overreacting. This is nothing but hypocrisy. From what I've observed about Filipinos in general, we always overreact to negative comments about Pacquiao or what some Hollywood star say about the Philippines (e.g. Claire Danes describing Manily as "ghastly and weird city" or Alec Baldwin saying that he'll mail-order a bride from the Philippines) or what some author say about the Philippines (e.g. "Gates of Hell"). Let the the Davaoenos overreact, but before you judge them, look in the mirror first.
