but i agree with ur point na ang muslim medyo mas taas ug violent tendencies because the koran is filled with passages na dali ra ma misinterpret. but lisod lang sad kaayo nang mga sweeping remarks and generalization as well as religious discrimination kay naa man sad ko mga kaila na muslim from my home town na medyo tarong sad gyud. preha ra na sa mga frat gud... na ma among tanan sa hinangaw sa gamay.
i agree with your point sir, sakto ka mura ug sa frat but if you notice naa gyud violence ang tanan moslem countries. tension for violence in saudi is high even if it has not happened yet. killings in iraq was common with co-moslems even before the US. there was bombing in indonesia and thailand. murag ang medyo way balita sa violence are malaysia, singapore & brunei. nevertheless, moslem relgious laws & practices naa gyud pagka violent labi na i-apply sa law by a moslem government.

i know we are not a moslem country but there are a lot of moslems in mindanao and they cause trouble there bombings, raiding of towns, raping christian women, kidnapping and all these acts of terrorism. again, just like fraternities, the good moslems protect their bad moslem brothers. that's why sa mata sa kadaghanan, bad sila tanan. if i am not mistaken they have passage or rule that if mo traydor ka sa kapwa nimo moslem, you will burn in hell forever.

yeah. taas ug tendency lang gyud ang muslim na ma violent. i've read the koran and it is filled with hatred. maybe because the socio-political climate during the time it was written was also very violent. i don't know why and mga muslim feeling nila oppressed sila. maybe because majority of the rich here in the philippines are christians. the general economic gap between muslims and christians layo gyud. and i dunno if kabalo mu ani but when it comes to employment mas easier for christians to apply for a job than muslims. daku kaayo ang difference. i came from mindanao although the muslims were a minority but naa gihapon ila presence but sa office lang sa ako dad wala gyud ni isa ka muslim as well as sa government na mga office. sa mga dagko na companya didto wala gyud muslim. marginalized gyud sila dinhi sa pinas mao guro na naa gyud deep hatred and muslim sa christian and sa government.

exactly! it's because of the socio-political climate. though they inhabited parts of mindanao long ago, it is still dominated by christians

it makes us think why in THEIR countries where christians are the minority, there is almost no conflict started by christians but in our country, they are the minority but they feel very oppressed. swerte man gani sila sa uban countries kay ga-lutaw sila sa oil.

pardon me for saying this but we have family in the depths of cotabato, davao, CDO & bukidnon but all our relatives their are unanimous in saying that lahi gyud daw ug frame of mind ang moslems. they can't speak for moslems in other countries though. mao bitaw natukod to ang grupo na ILAGA ni Manero because of their abuses in Mindanao.

of course these are all sweeping generalizations but it is a fact.

I must oppose to some who posted that the muslems are the major factor who contributed to the war in Mindanao. I am a christian but i think its unfair to give them all the credits to the war in Mindanao.

My opinion is that there are more issues. none religious issues. Like business, lack of education, their distance to the capital and the government and society.

Daghan sad nangapil sa mga terrorista nga mga ilitterate. Dali ra kau linginun ang ulo ba.

Human nature ang war. No one wants competition thats why they are killing each other.

War is a tool of diplomacy. But we don't want that. Especially in Mindanao. The government should address the ancestral domain issue which is the main point anyway of the long-running secessionist struggle of our brother Moslems.

War is business jud. But on the other side of the coin, there were stories circulating that the rebels and the military is having a conspiracy going on. Sila ra mismo ang magbaligyaanay ug mga armas.

Peace talks? I don't think so. It's the perfect time for them to make a deal.
