Transgender woman ni siya, therefore she identifies as female. No big deal. In my opinion, there shouldn't be a problem except that in her case, sa iyang ID male pa ang naka-indicate. Cause as far as I know, even if one has transitioned fully (with full surgery reassignment) one cannot legally change his/her gender marker in the Philippines. Something that is just normal in the US & Canada.
