Korik!
actually it's registered as FILIPINO Society of Cinematographers-- just check out fapweb.org, the official site of the Film Academy of the Phils.
What we do in life echoes throughout eternity~ Please support your lokal artists and their efforts to promote the Cebuano identity and culture!
Bitaw, I agree... though wala ko formal knowledge about film making, nice scenes are general the works of the cinematographers noh?Wala lang ko kaila anang mga tawhana...heheheh
Start checking out the name of the Director of Photography in your favorite movies. A lot of the same guys pop up in the good ones. They have their own fans as well.
bitaw noh? nya dili lagi kau ni cla ilado..
Yeah. Pero dagko kaayo nig bayad ning mga taohana. In some cases the established ones get paid more than the director.
The following Filipino DoPs top over even the most jaded among the ASCs:
1. Romeo Vitug
2. Loreto Isleta (I've work with this DoP on a Siquijor documentary)
3. Conrado Baltazar (This is the favorite of the late Lino Brocka)
4. Dik Trofeo
The following ASCs are my fantasy cinematographers:
1. Haskell Wexler
2. Caleb Deschanel
3. James Wong Howe (Elia Kazan's mainstay)
Blongkoy, asa man ko makakita sa imong mga trabaho? dyou have a site on the net?

I do not have a site on the net. And my festival days are over. I now make films for more food on the table for a fairly large family.
I have 54 films now in all these years --- 49 documentaries on assignment and 5 full length narrative features.
Find me a place to show in the next 5 to 10 days and I will gladly show them to you at your convenience; I will be out of town and will be in Kiribati (Christmas Islands) down south of Perth after this period and until shortly before Christmas this year.
Incidentally, I am now on a digital shoot for a 35 mm celluloid release in 2006 for Sunseed Films. My cinematographer here is my local favorite named Eugene Florendo --- a human steadicam, Systems 25 Fluid Miller tripod and soon a Wescam.
Just curious. Is your nickname "storaroing" a play of words on Vittorio Storaro? I've attended a lecture by this excellent Italian cinematographer at UP Dilliman on ". . . in Search of a Good Light" when he was here to shoot FFCoppola's "Apolycalypse Now." He also did WBeatty's "Red" and many others.
Just PM me or post here.
