    Music knows no age.. but..

you're only problem would be the fact that our brain cells decreases as we age, meaning it will be much harder for us to learn as we age.. it's true what they say about teaching old dogs.. but with much interest im pretty sure you'll get there eventually.

di nalang ta mo i-mention tagsa2 but thank you all. i know yeah that age is but a number. maybe the only insecurity that lies within is that these young generation are learning faster and better and they're still young when they learned everything... so there's still so much room for improvement on their part.

but i deeply appreciate the encouragement and support. are you with me in this? YEAH!

as for that @Gjhone murag di ko pang singer jud. ) and as for you @jntio, hmmm... di ba dapat bisaya/cebuano ang vispop? correct me if i'm wrong lang... hehe but as for that if kailangan jud bisaya, i'm very weak at that (ironically coz i'm born and raised in Cebu). i listen to these Cebuano songs now and they're written really well.

@centerpiece mao sad na ako-a for the past 10 years, i guess? i have my very own guitar. but it frustrates me sometimes that i have that guitar but can barely play it well. kanang akong frustration hapit na maabot sa point nga malabay na jud nako akong gitara. i look at it and i think "what are you doing here in my room? you don't belong here..." (yes, i talk to my guitar and it has a name haha). but then... i don't know... i sort of feel lost when i hold it. not like before.

@iSTORYA: OMG! where in the world is your ex? haha those are 2 of my fave instruments to learn. i love piano so much and i sort of hate myself why i know guitar when it's piano that i love. gosh. i hope i'll have the same determination as her.

@-]chong<3 that's actually how i started to learn but... i sort of felt lost and confused. and i don't have someone to run to to ask for questions. i go to YouTube now but sometimes ma frustrate ko kay ngano di jud ko kamao bisan balik2on nako tan-awn ang video.

i know i've said the word FRUSTRATE a lot of times and yes, frustration easily gets the best of me. in a world where everyone judges me and my capabilities, i always feel the pressure to do things perfectly and if i can't, it frustrates me. i'm planning to enroll to either guitar or piano lessons after i graduate with my masters degree aron dili mag-abot ang gastohan for this year. but i surely will.

i know it sounds lonely to say all this here in a forum where anonymity is the name of the game; but i'd rather have an anonymous support from you guys because maybe if i fail you, i don't owe you that much (not really, i guess) coz we don't know each other. i won't see that disappointed look of your face or something. so yeah... i'm a loser for thinking such, but i won't tell this to my family or friends until i'm already sure i won't fail them. i failed them enough already.

maybe you lack focus maam or just busy with other things. when i was learning before, i spare 3 hours of my time in practicing the guitar. may i know the tutorials you're streaming in youtube? mura'g dili man epektibo ang video tutorials para nako..

best thing to do is to actually try to learn the lessons...you'll see..

naay school of rock sa Gen.maxilom across old sacred heart school for boys
..pwede pud sa salonga SM or main branch sa Sikatuna St. right before Echavez st. if you're coming from Jakosalem St...
pwede pud ilang edz anciano(edz guitars) in AS Fortuna..before and across J Centre Mall if you're coming from Banilad
naa man gani pud mga private tutor...pag post lang ug Looking For nga ad sa B and S, Entertainment then Music and Movies
i used to teach guitar lessons pero di nalang jud madala sa oras..hehe

ingun pa nila, if you really got what it takes(meaning you're wired for music), then age shouldn't be an issue..

Go for it and don't be discouraged if you're classmates are way younger and better than you. Don't mind what other people will say or think. Jam nya ta pag may time.

I will just say this , you are never too old to learn anything. Everyday is a learning experience.
