Ang streets pud oh, naa unta maintenance like naay mo check daily pra ma spalto dayun.
I'm excited of the BRT, ang cebu mura na ug DUBAI Yahooo!!!!

    Hello sad Fafi Mar hehehe

Well like any growing city there are sacrifices that need to be done , and I know its easier said than done and its harder for those citizens that are actually displaced but , points are one , if its not their land to claim then one knew progress was bound to happen and yes it is for the good of many.

Mao Ming , hopefully we get a clear plan on how they move forward on this big project.

    On someone mentioning attitude:

I think its okay to be a skeptic and play devils advocate as we haven't had a big project like this. But the first political hurdle at least is being addressed and that is National Government spending for other regions , for the longest time we've talked about National Capital getting all the infrastructure its nice to see it spread to other regions. While this seem to be a bold move , understanding our economics , this was bound to happen as government need to spend in order to further increase our good economy.

So do we lessen Puj's as BRT system will open jobs. There are a lot of questions needing answers , hopefully we get plan that addresses this and more..
I totally agree that as part of this project, expanding city roads and repair is a must. In some busy routes, there should be a BUS LANE (usually on the far right of the road). Ban PUJs in bus routes, and strictly enforce on limited PUJs and they should only be operating sa mga sudlonon. Limit on pedicab and trisikad as well. I know that it's difficult for most of them losing their living, but I think we should make a decision if we really want to move forward.

It would be a logical choice to prioritize PUJ drivers to apply for the BRT driver position. Those who are well-qualified (less traffic violations, not alcoholic, good attitude, and etc) cuz we want our commuters safe.

As for fares, commuters can only pay via tokens, if not electronic wallet where commuters can load their money to different denomination or subscribe for a weekly pass or monthly pass. If they have to take another bus to reach their destination, they can have a transfer ticket or the electronic wallet that would be good for 2 hours and so they wouldn't be charged for taking another bus in that time period.

It's a lot of work to implement, but Philippines are heading to a good direction.

"He said the government would have to face right-of-way issues as well as the possibility of historical sites getting affected with its construction."
