Then its not hiphop. Hiphop is the culture. What your saying is just the clothes nothing more nothing less. They don't represent hiphop just cuz they wear baggy clothes. I myself don't wear baggy clothes. I represent hiphop thru music and the passion, not clothing.

ok here are my views... hiphop talks bout the ghetto life in a very urban setting where drugs and violence is very rampant,

with all the gansters or "gangstas" as what others may call it. they also talk a lot about *** and money or what others may call

"pimpin".im not saying all rap music or hiphop culture for that matter are all like that. there are actually some songs who make sense

not just bling and pimpin around, but sad to say most of them are. reggae on the other hand is too broad to cover but i

would say that in general almost all of reggae music are feel good music.there is less hostility in the so called music genre. drugs well

reggae only talks a lot about the "international herb" . so in my lifestyle i guess ill have to say id go for reggae over hiphop. rap and

hiphop isnt just for me although i listen to some of it occasionally. i think im just not "gansta" enough.

tsk tsk again hiphop is not only music its the culture can't you understand? To what you just said there is like from a musics you've been listening too and apparently you don't know much with artist out there that has very good vibes and their poetic rhymes. Beat Boxing is hiphop, and is it gangsta? No, but its part of the culture. Graffitti artists and their creations, are you gonna call that gangsta? No, again its part of the culture. Know the culture first before bashing something you only seen in mainstream.

I'm not arguing with you, I'm just saying and I respect whatever your opinion. I see your from Compton but my opinion still goes to rap especially them underground artists. They are just better lyrically and themes compare to mainstreams....
