    They the chinese are not so dumb to consider that warships are not made for ramming.
    They appeared so childish in this scenario they've created. If they are quite serious about their claim then they better use their cannons and missiles and let"s see how strong they are so daring in making these outrageous, forced, and unfounded assertions.

    If they actually fired upon using armaments it would be interpreted as an act of aggression, whereas if they just "collided" it is interpreted as an accident rather than an actual form of aggression. But based on past Chinese incursions in the area, these "accidents" seem to be deliberate in nature. So who knows why the Chinese seem to be getting into more and more collisions.
