I have.... the same problem with my 3rd generation ipod....I have the replacement battery na I ordered from Hong Kong...but still the Ipod wont work...I have tried disassembling the unit but to no avail...no success....changung the battery isnt the solution...i think we need someone to diagnose the board or the dock connector....if u know of a repair center do inform us...thnx

to all: gtry na nakog duol sa istore then they sed na palit daw kog replacemnt batt sa cdrking then cla mutaud for p500. nag cge nakog balik2 sa cdrking ayala then wa jd, thyre only selling replacemnt batts sa ipod mini ug nano.
gtry nakog bungkag, which is pretty much easy thnx to rgnoval, then wa gyapon..

hangtud rn nangita gyapon ko..sayang mn gd ang 20 gigs, gamit kaau..
