Thread: Cyanogenmod 7

@Syd_M Mine usually lasts mga 2 days max ra guro average use lang (calls, texts, light gaming). Kung heavy usage kay mga 7-10 hours ra. Which is better Juice Defender or DS Battery Saver?

@jerkric Mao jud. But mas preferable man ang dugay jd ma lowbat para less ang charging pra taas ang batterylife.

DS Battery Saver (it's also called Deep Sleep Battery Saver on the Play Store) works better. I've tried Juice Defender, but it was ineffective and actually caused my phone to drain faster. DS Battery Saver is the only thing so far that has actually managed to double and at times even triple my battery life. Give the free version on Play Store a try -- you get only the default settings and can't customize profiles like the pro version, but even the default setting works wonders. Just be sure to uninstall Juice Defender or whatever other battery apps you have to prevent conflict.

    1. DS Battery Saver Pro, set on Balanced profile. As the name implies, it puts the phone into deep sleep when not in use. It's a great battery saver.

    2. CrossBreeder mod (get it from XDA). Lag reduction, entropy, DNS, and performance tweaks. Just download the zip and flash in recovery (if you have other performance init.d scripts, you might want to remove them to avoid conflict). No need to activate the mod since almost everything is enabled after flashing, except the governor tweaks and IO tweaks (I recommend enabling them, especially the governor tweaks, since it also helps with battery).

    3. Netforks mod, which is in my opinion, the best 3G and network speed tweak out there. I've been getting good speeds on my Sun Cellular now even on peak hours after flashing this tweak, while before my speeds used to crawl like it was dial up.

For those using ICS ang JB, I would also recommend the Greenify app as a way of saving battery. It puts unused apps into hibernation. Don't hibernate your sms/mms app, though, so you won't get mesage notification delays.
What happens if I install both Crossbreeder mod and Project Fluid script tweaks? Ok ra ba? Advisable or not? Same same raman sila'g use noh?

According to the Project Fluid thread, it's compatible with CrossBreeder. I don't know how effective they'll be together, though, as it looks like there's an overlap of features. You should probably try asking in both mods' threads. Or you could just give it a try, just take a nandroid backup in case things go wrong.

The only thing that I don't like about Crossbreeder mod and Project Fluid script tweaks is that it disables all of your animations. I've enabled them via developer's option and yes it was enabled. But I couldn't find a way or I am just too lazy to look for a way that enables the animation when entering and exiting the drawer. Anyway, they sure are compitable. Nothing went wrong on my mango.
