they did not indicate in their specs/brochure..probably the chip supports hspa+ but it was not part of the circuit design.
look at Myphone A9191, CM HD 2.0, CM Blaze 2.0...same processor but they did not claim HSPA+, in fact CM HD2.0 only claims HSDPA 7.2mbps not 42mbps.

ZTE claims the v987 can do a of maximum 21 Mbit/s... ang problema wa may klaro ang atong mga network diri so not really a deal breaker ang hspa+ or hspda

    LTE: 299Mbps
    HSPA+: 168Mbps
    HSDPA: 42Mbps

if generic HSDPA ra ang ilang gi advertise, I assume 7.2Mbps ra na iyang kaya....unya atbangan ug HSPA+ nga >42Mbps unya lower cost pa gyud...nah, adto gyud ta sa HSDPA 7.2Mbps?
    example ani bro,
    CM Razor HSPA+ at 6,499.00pesos vs ZTE V987 HSDPA 21Mbps at 11,990.00pesos

theoretical speeds... in real world usage for MOST consumers, even if you just get 3-4Mbps of stable mobile data connection magtagamtam kana sa imong gibuhat diha sa imong celpon. so not a deal breaker for the majority.

not a deal breaker maybe, because they're not that informed.
my hsdpa 7.2Mbps is just getting an average of 0.4Mbps [speedtest], lucky spots/times delivers 2++Mbps.
now, with HSPA+ at the same cost as HSDPA 7.7Mbps...will I still get an average of 0.4Mbps?
well, mopalit pa ko ug HSPA+ nga phone.

(Globe, Smart, Sun)

basin mang reklamo ta sa Smart, Globe, Sun...nga hinay ang internet...only to find out nga LTE ang phone pero ang bandwidth sa iyang LTE tua diay sa pikas nga provider.
naa pud mga phone nga LTE kuno pero ang iyang i-display kay 3G ra gyud...mo claim dayun ang user nga wala pay LTE sa area when in fact naa pero dili lang sila pareha ug frequency..
