this is what made me convince to go for octa. Samsung S4 - Key Differences Between Quad Core and Exynos5 Octa versions | Fingers On A Screen - Smartphones, Tablets and more....

Here's also a detailed explanation of how octa works: Samsung Galaxy S4 processor: how the eight-core CPU works (Wired UK)

    Here's a video version of the 1st link: Galaxy S 4: Octa-Core vs Quad-Core - YouTube

I could say the s4 octa is ready for future apps that demand more processing power, so multitasking will be breeze with it.

Anyways, mahibaw-an rana if makahands-on na jd ko sa octa.

why would you go for octa were the only diff between speed would be minimal and it does not have LTE, and what can you do with a fast phone when you dont have juice to sustain your phone. for me octa needs more improvement but in this early stage i think its going in the right direction.

if you watched the review posted above mas ok man ug battery life ang octa kesa sa quadcore. But yeah maski asa ana ok ra ko. But since sun subscriber man ko and wala man LTE ang sun so d ra ko mu mind if mag-octa ko

Octa is overkill... it's like a collectors item never to be opened...

for daily use of a phone, do you really need octa? it's the same arguments with having a PC with Octa Processors + Hyper Threaded + Turbo Boost + Overclock... nya ang dula-an kay farmville...

now you ask yourself kung kaya ba nimo ma consume tanan... even the most graphic intensive app cannot... not unless you are making your phone as a SERVER with millions of connected user.

I do agree it's overkill and maybe not needed for now. But if it's available on the market with the same price as the quad, I don't see anything wrong if people will go for it. Siguro if mas mahal sya den dha ka mag think twice.
