shifting? you should not shift, you should learn.

PHP is a dynamic typing, object oriented, scripting language, while C#(.NET) and JAva are static typing, fully object oriented, compiled languages. Static typing may not be true with C#, it also supports dynamic types, I don't know about java.

Object oriented wise, PHP maybe object oriented but not as object oriented as C# or JAva.

PHP is a scripting language, C# and JAva are compiled. A good developer should have at least 1 compiled and 1 scripting language.

I guess the good question will be: "Should I learn C# or Java?"

ang PHP man gud is not STRONGLY type sa mga variable..
sa C# pwede ka mag strongly type pwede pud dili using their dynamic keyword...and also the ViewBag object if web.

C# bai, kusog kaayo karon daghan hiring. Besides, PHP and C# is very similar also Java so dili jud na shift, more like knowledge expansion.

ingon sya, dili mag matter ang programming language...as long as kabalo kag OOP ug ang LOGIC nimo...pwede ra man gud ka maka google and besides naa man ka mga kauban sa work mga pwede ka maka pangutana if magka lisod...also you're going to work on a team...so tinabangay jd na sya.
