video games? that is the last on the list if I have to make one. try examining the society the Americans are living in. the American culture as a whole, the hypocrisy in school, at work. the way family members don't show respect with one another. all these would manifest in their kids, how rude, disresrectful, self-centered most of them are. those are some of the reasons why kids show depression at such an early age. do we hear about the word "depression" in the Philippines? not as often as compared as in the US.

why not blame the MEDIA (NBC) for glorifying the perpetrators by showing the pictures, video and the letter that Cho sent to them during that 2 hour lull in between the killings? how sure are we that there won't be no copycats who'd do the same act? Cho held the Columbine shooters as heroes. what would prevent other sick, twisted, demented kid somewhere who's having the same issues with all those kids (Cho and the Columbine shooters) not to do the same thing when their act is even shown in prime time TV? how could you resist when your face is aired continuously on screen by different media outlets? made into a movie?

where's the Columbine massacre video game? there isn't one!!! but that's where Cho based his killing spree from!!!

ask these simple questions:

- where can you find the most number of serial killers?
do they have video games during the time of Ted Bundy?
then why were there serial killers even before the PC / video games were invented?

- where can you find the most number of suicides / suicide attempts?
do they have video games that simulate suicide?
so why are there suicides / suicides everyday in US schools?

- what then if in the next couple of days we would know that Cho didn't play video games?
do we have to blame some other stuff like gun control?
do we blame school authorities / school police for doing nothing to stop it?

before we go that route here's some statistics at Virginia Tech I wanna share with you guys:
26,000 students enrolled this semester.
8% (2,080) of that population has similar mental issues with Cho.
Cho didn't have priors / criminal record.

so knowing all that, would you still put the blame on the school admins / school police?

one more thing, in the society we live in today it's very CONVENIENT to put the blame on something or on somebody.
