indie is short for independent, right?? so theres nothing to do with the genre.. so if that band or artist is not signed up with a major record label or company thats what it call indie..

i also listen to this.. weird and not common music but at the long run i feel bored listening to it. thats why im shifting to an alternative style.. like music of Renz Verano... cool man!!

IMHO indie term is just a marketing tool because facts point that indie is not actually a genre but a trend/fad. uso karon ang independent bands and the ever enterprising labels gi-change or gi-dub nila ila mga bag-o and not-so-new bands as indie bands or mu play ug indie music na in the first place walay indie na genre. if naa pa sa una pa unta kato sa time sa pavement and stuff...

wow.. this is my new favorite thread.. HEY ALIWAS!!! i heard that pinoy indie stalwarts the baluyot brothers( of the band "VERSUS") will be coming here to the philippines.. Dad-on nila ang ila band nga Plus/Minus or more accurately "+/-"... I"m not sure if both of the baluyot brothers are part of the band but i heard that one of them is...

I just remembered that ikaw man diay to nagburn ug compilation album nako na apil ang "My Adidas" sa Versus sa nindota ato nga compilation beh.. sunod nimo balik, dad-i kug daghan Indie stuff beh.. specially from the d.c. area or ohio... ??
