Pls Recommend a good PSU with a budget around 4 to 5k

kaya ra kaayo sa imo current psu oi, overkill ra kung imo e upgrage at your current setup. bisan butangan pa nimog ceiling fan imo cpu kaya rana sa imo psu. hehe

@TS, I have been using FSP everest 80plus 600W, and for the past 2 years (almost 3 yrs na) it has never let me down.

Current PSU sa akong CPU sa balay is Silver Stone ST56F (560 Watts) and I want to transfer it to my other CPU for work nga generic lang.

My budget is around 4k but not more than 5k. However, there are a lot of PSU other, with different brands and specs, so galibog ko....

What are the advantages kung modular ang psu?

Naa koy mga candidates:

I am incline sa FSP Everest Series 80PLUS Modular (800w) nga tag P 4,700.00, kay siya ang kinatasan ug wattage, but walay gibutang nga either silver or gold iyang rating. On the other hand, ang FSP AURUM Series 80+ GOLD (700w) nga tag P 4,800.00, which is P 100.00 lang ang difference, although 700w ra siya, yet Gold iya rating....

by the way, ok ra ba ni ang FSP nga brand? usual nako makitan kay HEC, Thermaltake, CoolerMaster, Corsair...karon pako aning FSP nga brand....

FSP is not a bad brand but IMO, with a budget of 5k, its not worth recommending. Perfect for your specs and budget is the Seasonic X-560 gold, modular with 5 years warranty..Around 4.5k-4.7k ni sa TPC. Naa pud seller diri sa istorya. S***y18 ang handle.

Lahos nalang Silverstone or SeaSonic.. mas sayon ang warranty if ever needed and they are also more reliable.
