Basically MPOWER Series and Core Series are same Series. MPOWER Series has yellow stripe as the same as the design of MSI Z77 MPOWER motherboard on heat spreader, in other words, MPOWER is specifically designed for MSI Z77 MPOWER motherboard to make memory modules and motherboard perfectly matched.



They both have LED and blinking in the frequency like breathing, yet MPOWER has different LED colour:

s 1600MHz – Yellow LED

s 2133MHz – 2400MHz – Blue LED

s 2666MHz – Red LED



Core Series with different color LED is now on pilot run, so we have 1600MHz kit with other colors: Blue (the original) / Green / Orange / Red / White / Yellow.



Core Series does not test on MSI motherboard whereas MPOWER Series does. Both use 8-layers PCB for maximum thermal conduction, and double copper PCB to maximize overclocking ability.
