Judas intention was 30 pieces of Silver, there was no conspiracy.
You can make different people do anything for money even if it cost their souls.

before i became an atheist and before i knew about the Gospel of Judas nagtuo jud ko nga si Judas was an instrument by God.. his betrayal was for me meant to happen, so it was not entirely his fault, it was his destiny..

Exactly... Judas was a big instrument in fulfilling Jesus' mission. Without proper analysis, the "hatred" of Christians towards Judas is really an image of Christians hating the Jews.

When I was a child, I asked why we condemn and disrespect Judas, and even heard stories that he went to Hell and was not given salvation inspite of his contribution.

The reason really is that, he denied repentance and due to guilt and pride he hanged himself. Unlike Peter whom denied Jesus three times.

he committed suicide out of conscience because he took all the blame yet when you look at it his action was very instrumental in shaping Christianity, yes makapangayo man siyag pasaylo sa ginoo but do we really think nga mawala ang iyang conscience ana? Even if ma pasaylo sya he would be forever troubled.. I think he more than deserves a seat than peter and thomas for they on the other hand denied their lord.

btaw according sa bible it was the Devil who instilled betrayal in Judas' Heart..
in John 13:2. in the same way that we are tempted to do things that aren't right

the devil himself knew that Jesus was the savior but He did not know
that dying on the cross would be the fulfillment of the passover feast in the time of Jews in Egypt
where Jews, had to kill a bull and paint its blood on their doors
which was done to escape death, the same manner applies towards the sacrifice on the cross.

Jesus was the perfect sacrifice to atone the sins of men sins which also result into death(see john 3:16)..
technically the Devil thought that Jesus' death would be his victory
but it was the other way around..as even in the Old Testament times, blood and sacrifice of a lamb is required for a jew to be atoned from his sins.Jesus is the perfect sacrifice for the atonement of all sins, the Lamb of God(dili ang banda ha...Lol)

Jesus purchased the salvation for us through His death, through His Body and blood...
but that salvation would be useless if dili nato i claim...

that's the very message of the controvertial "gospel of Judas" bro.
it wanted to do away all the other gospels complied in the bible...
it wanted to divert the focus on Judas sacrifice as the traitor
instead of the True sactifice of Jesus for salvation..

this is not to condemn Judas ha, 'cause no one has the right to do so...
however peter denied Jesus but peter did not loose hope..

if Judas didn't hang himself, if only Judas did not loose hope..
He might have been one of the most powerful disciples of Jesus

cause after all, the message of Jesus was forgiveness and salvation..Not condemnation...

our past mistakes,guilts, trouble, betrayal can somehow bless other in due time..
when we are able to overcome guilt and failures by accepting Gods forgiveness...

apparently that's what Judas missed, at least in his life time..
