look around you and open your eyes. i hope you see the poverty when you see houses under bridges, children walking around dirty and naked, and even your everyday jeepney driver. these are the faces of the slaves of eons past.

i do not know what you see, but i know for sure, whatever it is that i do, it most certainly is NOT BEING TYRANNICAL. on the contrary, what i see are victims of tyranny.

Oh yes you are right we are really not an independent country, we are like and animal which strangled in the neck, or a prisoner who are just given a long rope for us to walk but still we are chained and will be hauled back when we walk to far, far enough for them. Our leaders back then wanted independence from US because at that time Philippines is very nice country to live in. We have a very good economy, way better than the rest of SouthEast Asia, and belonging to the better half of Asia. If MLQ and the rest of our leaders were here today they wouldnt have pushed for independence they just didnt see it coming.
