Wholesale means at least 6 pcs...of different varieties. Naa na man gyud nay patong sa Manila.

3x baya ang patong diri sa Cebu, trust me. That's why i buy my clothes in Manila.

Another thing, mahal na stall space sa mall. In Fashion Ave, you pay by sq m. Unya, dapat ang pinaka gamay na kuhaon nimo na space is at least 10sq m man siguro. 9k+ man per sq m times 10 so mugawas na 90k+ a month ka. Meaning, dapat muabot imong gross sales ana nga amount monthly. Kuhaan pa nilag percentage imong gross sales, kalimot ko how much. Plus pa imong rent per month, muabot man sigurog at least 30k.

But before ka kasud sa mga mall, mubayad man kag bond or security deposit.

how does one bring in stuff from other countries?? around how much are the shipping costs and taxes? does anyone have an idea? or has anyone tried?

i like the rtw business. i like to personally shop for items, if ever I do get into the business. Coz shopping is f-u-n but like zahara's friend, one cannot personally shop all the time. in the longer term, it would be nice to order stuffs thru business contacts/internet (wholesale), and then have them shipped here.

Hello guys! i am really interested in your topic. I am working in garments for more than 15 years and I loved it. Kahit saan ako madestino ginagawa ko to. Nasa Cambodia ako for 5 years nagpapadala ako ng Levis and Old Navy pants sa Phil. Me friend ako na pinadadalhan ko din ng 1-2 box a month selected items na yun, my sister who is a teacher also retailing and I am sending 1-2boxes a month din sa kanya. About10-20pcs per style Assorted na yun ladies, mens and childrens. I am packing these in bulk and dyan na lang nila nererepack to save space sa ctn.
Kung me contact kayo sa malls better, pwede din ang fresh order basta send me designs or u offer them, you supply to them and pwede ko gawin dito.
Kung me iba pa kayo items na gusto ipasabay sa shipment , pwede ko pagamit warehouse ko and consolidate nyo, we'll help you send altogether. More details, pls email me at.
    tentmakerhouse@yahoo.com God bless us.

    Puede makisabat?
I am from Manila and I have experienced mag work sa SM North in one of the concessionaires, and I have also worked as a Quality Inspector in one of the supplier of Goulborn.

Just want to give you an idea how it is to have a store in SM, like the known stalls of VIVA, Guess, etc.
In SM, while the bulding is still in the construction stage, ibinibenta na ang rights ng mga stall which is not less than a million for the rights lang, depending on the size, location and type of merchandise you are selling. Then if you get a 20 sq meter space, you pay a monthly (before it was P240/sqm) maybe now it is more than 500/sqm. And SM gets 6-8% of the monthly gross sales. And the store has to pay the light/electricity, tel, if ever, salesclerk, etc. That is why the priceis really high. And not only that, it is in the contract that every three years you have to renovate your interior of the store.

Not all products being sold in the store is produced by them, mostly they are consigned or if not they have their own shops that makes the goods or they have subcontractors that makes it for them. I'll give you an idea how they price it: A supplier will deliver a dozen of lets say a lingerie @ P100/pc. The saleslady will tag it for P250 ++. If at least 6 or 8 pcs was sold already, they can sell it on a bargain, maybe 30-50% off the price. and they still have profit, di ba?

Like Osh Kosh. Sikat yan di ba? Would you believe na ang producer ng mga damit na yan ay nandito sa Pinas. Sa Quezon City, I've worked there as Quality controller. We even put the tag price here for the buyer (OSh Kosh) in $ whereas ang bili nila nito ay less than $20 for a girl's dress then will put a tag na $49.95. But they have a really strict standard and Pinoys do it for them, cheap!
