USC forever
siguro private..pero dapat naa pud ang disiplina nga magtuon kay wala jud kay malearn kung kita mismo dili maningkamot.
para sa katong naa sa mga public schools, they can make it up by studying really hard. sipag at tiyaga ang dating nila, pero katong nsa private, naa nay edge cause of the plan laid by the school admin.
anha sa public kana night high school.. naa diha ang tanang lami.
Sa private institutions:
USC, ADC- Jesuits, SHS - Hijas, STC, CIC - these schools are undoubtedly mahal but you get what you pay for. I graduated USC-BHS (now named north campus), a lot of my colleagues sa hospital came from SHS-J (now ateneo), and my gf is from STC (still STC) so I can attest the quality education and moral standard these schools have. The people I know from these schools are getting into the jobs/careers they want, I have friends that are in the music business doing sessions for local acts here in Cebu and other provinces, well established architects and designers as well as successful photographers.
Sa public institutions:
CNU, CCNSHS (sci-high), UP-IS and the different science and technology high schools in the municipalities
Mu-lalis pamo ani nila? I can attest that the people I know that came from CNU and sci high are very intellectual and usually work harder than most other employees I have encountered. I have a lot of friends from sci high that are now lawyers abroad, currently are PGI's in different hospitals, and businessmen/women. so yeah the quality education you learn from these schools are excellent.
International schools:
INTERNATIONAL SCHOOLS! the name speaks of itself. Its international so you get International quality education. nuff said.
but and ending the choice is still with you and your child. where does he/she fee comfortable? distance sa inyong home from the school? the cost of enrolling your child to that institution and so on and so forth.
Tip lang from what I learned from my parents and how they chose where me and my sisters went to highschool:
1. They let us take exams in the top 3 HS that we would like to go to (kanang within budget lang hehehe) and they let us take an exam to a school of their choice.
2. Let us go for a tour sa schools that we liked and the school they chose.
3. Asked us where we felt most comfortable.
4. They had a talk with the guidance councilor
5. Finally make a decision basing on these in this order of importance: COST!; where we felt comfortable; where they felt that the school will coordinate with the parents with regards to the education of the children.
long story short:
home run ang CIC og USC sa ako parents and me and my sisters went to these schools. hahaha
CIC is a level 5 paascu accredited school
STC if girl ka. Wala pa sila nag accept Og boys for high school.
Cebu City National Science High School.
