According to the specs: Supports AMD Quad-GPU CrossFireX™ Technology
Para atleast maka palit ko 2 to 3 7970 within this year, then maybe another one next year.
Do you think mo fit na siya?
Thanks.
Based on the motherboard model you provided TS, no.. 2x7970 ra jud ni cya because 2 ra iyahang PCI-E x16 slots.. Better get a motherboard with at least 4 PCI-E x16 slots and with two-slot spacings between the PCI-E x16 slots you want to populate with your cards..
@tSUB thanks for the reply. Naa ka ma recommend na cheap na motherboard with the description you mentioned? Thanks
Honestly boss, if you intend to have 4 GPU's on your set-up, going cheap on your motherboard makes no sense. As mentioned before, you would have to take note of the spacing of the GPU slots. If you're running single slot cards, then spacing is less of an issue. However, since 7970's are dual slot cards, you would need motherboards that are appropriately spaced.
Motherboards that support 4 GPU's are both RARE and EXPENSIVE, so if 4 7970's are your goal TS, then you would want to invest in a more expensive motherboard. With that in mind, here are some motherboards which I think could handle what you want to do: Asus Maximus V Extreme, Gigabyte G1.Sniper 3
There's really no use cutting corners with a set-up like that TS..
Going back to topic boss, if you would like your cards to be liquid cooled, better go for the custom loop nga gi suggest ni boss ren if you plan to be running two or more cards. Multiple Antec Kuhlers would look fugly IMO, and you would also have to deal with the placement of multiple radiators..
Goodluck with your build boss..
@tSUB
Thanks sa info! I'll be taking a look on those mobo's you mentioned.
I have a question regarding liquid cooling. I think I saw something on the internet a couple of weeks ago that liquid cooling lowers power consumption. Is it true?
you might take a look on this cause i guess you will spending more if you dont know what parts to buy.
when you want watercooling then reasearh for a week or month para di masayang ang parts na gipamalit...

At last my 7970 arrived last week and I want it to be water cooled. Grabe ka saba while naggamit ka sa GPU.
Maka distorbo man ta ug neighbor ani sa saba as 7970.
Btw, it's a reference card VisionTek 7970 I bought from Amazon.com.
Ask ra ko kung okay ra ba ni siya na GPU block (Universal Block EK supreme HF bridge Edition plexi acry) http://www.ekwb.com/shop/media/catal...ile_36_1_1.jpg
