Personally, I prefer LG branded phones over Samsung. I have an LG Optimus One (P500), rooted and with a custom ROM. Despite it being relative low-end, it's rock-solid stable hardware-wise and can stand up to a decent amount of abuse. As for your needs, it really depends on what you want the phone for. If you're the gaming type, then the Xperia line might be a good match. If you want it for business or office work, then a large screen LG or Samsung phone would be best. Social networking and picture taking is again another thing entirely. It'll help us narrow down our recommendations if you have an idea what you'll probably be using the phone for.

thanks man, im getting Xperia S this week, so thanks sa input. i did look into High End LG fones, but their camera shots and vids simply turned me off...

Xperia Arc S man ta to akong kwaon pero nihit kaau na nga model ui... so mokat kat nalang pud og higher into Xperia S... nindotan kos usa ka feature sa fone where, bisan naka lock ang fone, when u press that button, it takes pictures still.. i like pud its fast capture feature... so far im liking the review of xperia S that i have been watching.. so my fate is bound najud to xperia S

That's a good phone. The camera isn't the best, admittedly, but it's better than most. If you want better, then you'll want a phone with a Xenon flash (the Xperia S only has a LED flash). Still, the Xperia has a good camera (comparison on GSM Arena). The downside to the Xperia S is that its battery life is so bad (it drains faster than the Optimus One). If you're still looking, then try checking the specs on GSM Arena and compare with other phones.

Yeah, SGS2 is worth the money. Mao ni ako daily driver.
